Tim Himes

Tim Himes is Head of Product at Foundation Medicine. Himes joined Foundation Medicine in 2024, bringing more than 22 years of experience in diagnostics across multiple roles within Roche Diagnostics and Ventana Medical Systems.

Prior to joining Foundation Medicine, Himes most recently served as the General Manager of Roche Diagnostics in Denmark, where he successfully led the Danish organization in strengthening their public-private partnerships, piloting several new patient care initiatives with The Danish Regions and the Danish CDC and supporting the Danish government throughout the COVID pandemic.

Before his time in Denmark, he held the role of Lifecycle Leader for Roche’s global cervical cancer franchise and as an International Business Leader within Tissue Diagnostics, based in Tucson, AZ. Earlier in his career at Roche and Ventana, Himes held roles of increasing responsibility in sales, sales leadership, marketing and commercial education.

Himes earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
