Annie Murphy
Annie Murphy is Chief Commercial Officer at Foundation Medicine. In this role, Murphy oversees the development and execution of Foundation Medicine’s clinical commercial strategy to support physicians seeking personalized treatment options for their patients, foster new partnerships and strengthen customer relationships to expand patient access to evidence-driven treatment decisions.
Since joining Foundation Medicine in 2015, Murphy has held multiple leadership roles across the commercial, global portfolio strategy, and medical functions, and played a key role in the development and launch of FoundationOne®Liquid CDx, the company’s FDA-approved blood-based biomarker test.
Prior to Foundation Medicine, Murphy held healthcare strategy and market planning roles at Genentech and Charles River Associates, as well as various roles at ZELTIQ, the Bank of Ireland, and Citi.
Murphy holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College in economics and philosophy and master’s degrees in business administration and public health from the University of California, Berkeley
