Dymeka Harrison, MBA

Chief Commercial Officer


Dymeka Harrison, MBA, joined Foundation Medicine as Chief Commercial Officer in October 2021. In this role, Ms. Harrison is responsible for the development and execution of the company’s global clinical commercial strategy across all product lines. The clinical commercial team partners throughout the oncology ecosystem to support physicians seeking personalized treatment options for their patients and closely collaborates with third-party payers to ensure appropriate diagnostic utilization.

Ms. Harrison spearheads the company’s innovative customer collaborations, leading the clinical commercial team in strengthening existing customer relationships and establishing new partnerships. Under her leadership, the team works to expand patient access to comprehensive genomic profiling and explore new opportunities to work on a systemic level with health systems, academic medical centers and community practices.

With nearly two decades of experience in the diagnostics industry, Ms. Harrison joined Foundation Medicine from Abbott Laboratories, where she most recently served as Head of Strategic Marketing, overseeing global marketing efforts for the company’s Rapid Diagnostics Division. There, she was instrumental in developing and implementing innovative strategies to accelerate product launches and business opportunities. Ms. Harrison managed a team responsible for influencing and implementing division strategy, building commercial capabilities, and driving brand excellence.

Prior to Abbott Laboratories, Ms. Harrison was Vice President of the Molecular Diagnostics and Life Science Division for North America at QIAGEN, and previously held leadership roles at bioMérieux and Thermo Fisher.

Ms. Harrison earned her MBA from Georgia State University, and her B.S. degrees in engineering technology from North Carolina A&T State University.
